Encarta 98 is based on the 29-volume Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia. It boasts 30,000 articles, 7000 video clips and animations, 100 music audio clips, 5000 Internet links and an integrated 140,000 word dictionary.

You can search using the Pinpointer, or alternatively, use filters. When located, the words you search for are highlighted. You can refine searches by adding filters such as category, multimedia, time and place.
